Problems
So i bought this white cx from this guy and it didnt look like he did regualr oil changes. So me and a friend did the oil change and after a few i turned on the car. There was smoke coming from the header which has never happened before and im thinking its a bit of the old oil being burned off or is it an exhaust leak? i made sure the header was tightly bolted so im thinking its the oil. What do you guys think it is? the engine is a d15b8

Re: Problems (spoonef)
did you see exactly where the smoke was coming from, or did you see the 'round-about' place where it is coming from? If you couldnt see it coming out of a certain place...just somewhere on the header.....check the back, you might have a crack on the back, this happened to mine. it wasnt oil.

I'm really 2slow
if its coming from the dipstick area it might be your header gasket. And if its coming from the oil dipstick you might have a bad headgasket and the water is going into your oil. I have that problem right now too except mine throws white clouds of smoke through the exhaust. good luck.
