ok kind of an odd scenario. first off i am leaking about a quart of oil a week mostly from my oil pan where i drilled my oil return line(i am redoing it/all the oil leaks and problems in a day or 2.

ok just today it started to smoke a little bit like when i get on it it smokes more than if i just drive normal. my question is where is it comming from, i have heat wrap on my DP, Dump tube, bunch of charge pipe(where the dump tube pours out on to), and a coolant line(where my dump tube touches).

my theory is that the oil is dripping on my DP, onto the heat wrap, penitrating through it, and then causeing a bit of white smoke.

what do you guys think? thanks in advance.

p.s. could that start a fire???

Check compression buddy cause it sounds like Ring lands to me.

no its smokeing from the turbo/DP right around that area and i think i see it smokeing from the DP but would oil go through heat wrap you think?

white smoke is coolant burning black is fuel and blue is oil

i know but coolent doesnt go through my turbo or exhaust. it seems more like the heat wrap do you think that could be it??? its kind of new. i'll take pics but i am leaking alot of oil and i think that is soaking a little part of the heat wrap and then the heat wrap burns........ maybe.
