Default problem with ebay fogs

there is an extra brown male connector that has a fuse on the same wire. the switch has power to it because the light turns on. the relay clicks when I press the switch. the lights dont turn on...man im mad. I was thinking if it was better to just direct wire it. opinions?

This might help, it's what I used when I installed mine.

It was a while ago and I don't remember what wires went where really. Don't remember a brown plug.

i have a setup similar to that but mine did not come with anything to the fuse box at all and they work by power from the battery and ground with a harness from each fog back up to the button to the switch on the steering column

That plug DOES go into the fuse box as well. One goes to the BATT plug and the other goes to headlight switch one.

This guide seems to have the same wiring as you so follow this ---> http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=66852

I've heard if you add an extra, good ground and basically just rewire it all, they'll work, until the bulbs burn out...which won't be too long.
