Re: price to pay for eg swap (zigg_1311)
depends on whos doing it for u. i charge friends or people i know about $200 to $450 depending who they are. so if you got friends, tell them to hook u up. but if you go to a shop, be ready to spend some money.

is this with motor/labor included? papers for the motor? legit shop? Roughly for a legit motor installed by a legit shop some where around $3k roughly.

I know I don't live in Cali, but there is a shop around here, and they have to get the motor for you, and when all is said and done you are looking at about 4500-5000 for a GSR swap

nice condition eg hatch is around $2000
and good condtion full swap b18c engine is around $3000~$3500
(include axles..mounts..ecu..throttle cable.shiftlinkage..fluids)
labor to do the swap by certify machanics..($500~$700)
and thats just the engine swap and the car alone...
u might need the header..exhaust ..suspensions....that will be extra.

You MUST Shop around as MUCH as you can. I did an auto to manual swap. Once I finally had the parts I needed to find someone who can do it. 1 shop wanted to charge me $1,100 JUST for the labor. Remember, I had ALL parts already. Then I found that most of my friends can do or have done these swaps and do them all the time. I only ended up paying 275 for labor. Other friends charged pretty much in that same range. Labor charges at a shop is a bish.
