Motor Swap ??????
I have a 96 Delsol S. I was wondering which shop do you guys recommend me going to for a Type R motor Swap. I've heard about Autolink, Raceline and JDM Honda Parts, yeah they do motor swaps aswell. What do you guys recommend around the San Gabriel area. I got a quote from Autolink, they want to charge me 6500 for just the swap alone.

Yeah, probably that would be best, asking friends to help, damn most likely there are going to mess around and probably cost me more money for me just to spend it at a shop. Usually shops charge about 500 bucks for a motor swap.

find a honda tuner to do it in his garage..... saves grip of money and is faster.. my buddy can do complete swaps in a day and have you driving away smiling..
if the del sol is your only car dont do it yourself with your friends unless they are honda tech geniuses....
dontknow much about SGV so cant help you... . but good luck

Re: Motor Swap ?????? (kwil666)
Thanks for the info. Yeah I dont mind driving if its within a 30-45 mins. I was thinking of importbuilders in fullerton. So area code 714,626,310,562, maybe 909 if the shop is reputable. Does anybody know where to get a good buy on a type r motor.
