Power steering installation questions
Hey guys, I drive a 92' Civic Si EG hatch and the power steering was removed before I bought it. Its been fine since but I've always wanted to put it back on and I finally scored the whole setup from another Civic but I have a few questions:
1. I'm not sure if it was looped or plugged (haven't looked) but is there any chance the the rack won't work since its been p/s less for all this time?
2. If I do install it, what should be done to flush it to remove anything that may be in the system?
3. Do I need a cooler?
Thanks!

Re: Power steering installation questions
1. rack is working now. it is the pump that you would have to worry about.
2. i have never seen a system flushed, suction would probably be your best bet. but, normally i just see top offs being performed on the power steering system.
3. a cooler wouldn't hurt, but in a daily driver, i doubt you would see any real benefit.
