Default Power Door Locks (searched)

Hey guys, just had a Quick Q about power door lock installs.

A friend of mine works at circuit city and can get me some power door locks for REAL cheap. So I was just wondering how much trouble these are to install? I cant imagine them being really hard to install but ya never know. Installs like this end up usually being really annoying.

Any help would be great, thanks.

CIVIC DX .....i just ordered power locks on ebay, but i already had the relays set up, by the previous owner, so all i have to do it connect the the two wires..the mounting is easy, but the wiring would stay away from!

the worst part of the install is trying to loom the wires through the door grommet. it is extremely hard to wire it through, and be careful for the metal brackets under the dash, as they are very sharp. another hardship i went through was finding a mounting point for the power door lock motor. you have to find a spot where the door lock will fit behind the door panel. i had to modify my door panel, and shave off this piece of plastic to make my door locks fit. hope this helps.

what do you mean by real cheap? i believe they are cheap as dirt already. $5 for each door lock motor.

I got them both on ebay for 11 bucks. I installed them a couple of weeks ago, i just had to cut a small hole and bent the metal rod that came with it a little. Works perfect
