he is talking about porting his head, not his intake manifold.
How much you see in gains will depend on how much work you have done, what CR you are running and more importantly what cam you are running? Ballpark, I would guestimate anywhere from 10-30whp.
You have to remember to think of it all as a complete system. You won't always realize the gains until you upgrade the other links in the chain.
Also, do a little more research on this one. I've *heard/read* that the z6 head flows quite a bit better than the y8 head. So it may be more cost effective to get a z6 head instead of p&p your y8 head. However going with the z6 will lower your CR by a couple 1/10ths.

I'm pretty sure that the only SOHC cam available from Skunk2 is the stage 1. I think they are still working on the stage 2, 3 and turbo profiles. I could be wrong about that but I haven't heard anything about the stage 2 yet.
