popping in and out of vtec.
del sol, b16. mostly stock.
so when im in 1st and 2nd gear vtec, i pop in and out of vtec.
any idea why? no cel's.

if the oil is ok ....i have had this prob with customer cars..most of the time its low oil...second is the oil filter isnt letting enough flow to reach 60 psi oil pressure...so check the oil then change the filter (oemhonda) or fram works for me...and last of all prolly the wiring or the oil pump..

i have this same problem with my engine (B16A) i already changed the oil pump, vtec solenoid, and it still does the same thing. it only does it after a while when i turn on the car, when it gets up to runnin temp. right now i have the vtec solenoid rigged up to a button since its been cutting off.
life sucks with out vtec, there is no point of driving my car.
