Poll: Best Intake Manifold for SOHC VTEC (D16Y8)
Okay everyone -- here it is -- I need some input for my engine build. What do you think is the best intake manifold for a D16Y8 with a T3-T4 turbo+stage 2 turbo cam+ adjustable cam gear+underdrives?
*If I dont have one listed, PLEASE add ones I have over looked!
Thanks!

Port match a y8 manifold and your set. Also you could have it cut and bored and itll be even better.
By far y8 manifold is the best for D series.

I've heard of fitment issues with the Skunk2 intake manifold, if I was you I would do what Luserkid said or go for an Edelbrock.

my Skunk2 fit my EK fine...it was a little tight in a friends EF. The casting quality on the Skunk's wasn't anywhere the quality of the Edelbrock, however, i am not sure about the 'pro-series'
was definately a worth-while upgrade for NA....for boost i'd prolly lean toward the Edelbrock simply because of the pressurized air lol. Might spring a leak w/ a Skunk piece

I would bet that most who do this hurt engine performance.

Depends if the person boring knows what they are doing, and if they have experience in the engine they are working on. Honda's are real touchy on manifold design, and it doesn't take much to lose power. Going bigger doesn't mean more power.

Thats funny. I've seen MANY dynos that disprove the whole "Y8 intake manifold is god" theroy... You ever personally dynoed one?
