Plug Wires Burnt up in tube. How to remove???
I just bought a 98 civic with a y8 in it. The motor overheated and actually burnt the plug wires off in the head, so the spark plugs are surronded with now hardened plastic. Does anyone have any ideas on how to remove this plastic from the tube? Any input would help. Thanks

You'll have to pick the pieces out with a pick or something, engine is toast anyway after being overheated like that though.

That is some serious overheating, have to agree with 94EG8 engine is done.
Try long screwdriver as well as a pick tool and longer needle nose pliers to remove the crud.
