Please give your opinion on Skunk2!!!
I am interested in buying a skunk2 manifold and throttle body for my jdm d15b sohc v-tec. Has anyone used these before and if so, have you had any problems with IACV or TPS while using the skunk2? Just wondering is they are a worthwhile investment. I know going forced induction is the best way to get hp and torque but I just dont want to mess with all the ecu timing and problems that go along with that so i am going to stay all motor for now until I have enough money to swap in a H22. Right now all I have is an aem intake and a 2.25 cat back with chipped p28 ecu with vtec set at 4400. Thanks in advance for any advice or warnings.

They're cheap too.

Re: (xparalandrax)
Megan racing makes the header, they are ok, but for a smog legal reasons (if your in CA at least) check into DC (not too much power over stock but has a carb #) some other companies to check into but, don't carry CARB #s for a header that I've heard good news about for d series motors are comptech, greddy, & apexi(just haven't heard/read anything about the cheaper headers). I would reccomend getting a cam before an IM/TB combo. check with places like nipponpower.com, nopi.com and camp1320 in chatsworth, or even here in the market place.
As for skunk2 their quality is great but they have extremely poor customer service(experienced this one myself ) and are IMO overpriced.

i've seen some bad **** about their coilovers and camber kits actually. i think they redid the camber kits so they're pretty good now, not sure if the coilovers can still mushroom.
i do like my skunk2 shift **** though

Re: (The Internet Tough Guy)
Does quality matter when comparing skunk2 to say aem for a cam gear? I know skunk2 is cheaper. Also, do the spoon headers, or the others besides dc, have an o2 sensor spot? I was thinking of going with a skunk2 adjustable cam and maybe a spoon header and skunk2 short shifter.

dont buy skunk2 cam gears, I had them on two different setups and both times they slipped on my and bent my valves
skunk2 = trash
i'll never use skunk2 ever again
