p28 question
hey guys i just got my gsr swap in and the ecu wasnt included.. its an obd-1
can i run my p28 for a short time as long as i dont pound on it????.. im thinking fuel may run lean? has anyone done this? i just have to get and forth to work.. ive searched and didnt find a good answer.. i just need to know how lean it will be if any?

if you keep the throttle above 1/4 the ECU will remain in closed loop. It's not a good way to go but it shouldn't blow up the engine.
You can also pick up an adjustable FPR and turn up the pressure to help out.
Best bet, get a P72.

that's sort of like predicting the weather.
It's mainly up to how you drive and your setup. If you drive like a grandma and don't get into open loop operation, a week or so of 10-15minutes worth of daily driving then I wouldn't think you would have a problem.

what are u doing with your p28 ecu afterwards? cuz ill take that off ur hands if u have no use for it...obviously for a price...im just looking for a p28 08 ecu for my civic...
