Skunk2 manifold
Ok, i just wanna know is my car losing some power cause im running a skunk2 intake manifold instead of a gsr intake manifold on a stock gsr motor. I know that i dont have the secondary butterly no more but how much power am i losing. My mods are basically stock just a comptech icebox intake and dc 4-2-1 header. Still running the stock p72 but if i run a p28 chip will it help.

a chipped ECU will help some, especially since VTEC engages at 4300. Thats too low for a stock Gizzer... you might even notice a little gain if you just get a vtec controller if you dont want to spend the money on a ecu right now. i think when i had my stock GSR with a skunk2 it liked the vtec around 5800 or 5900 dont really remember
