piston question
when is it the only time that you would change out your pistons? how can you tell if the pistons are bad? any response would be great. thanks

The only time you really have to change pistons is if they are physically broken. Ring lands are the most common failure Iv'e seen. Other then that they really have to be struck by another component or otherwise cracked/melted/destroyed before they have to be replaced (typically this happens under high RPMs, boost, or other power added setups).
