The motor could have gone, do you hear anything when you push the switch?

yah we have the door panel off but what i dont understand is when we try it from the pass. side it doesnt work not even a grind or motor noise a all... but when i hit it from the driver side it goes up i was thinking somthing is wrong with that safty switch on the driver side unit, but we swaped out one out of my car to my brothers.. and it still didnt work.. we gonna take the glove box and stuff off and trace the wire

i would start by checking the fuse (number 8) under dash then if you have the tools check for continuity of the blue and black wire coming from the fuse box straight to the passenger switch
