I am thinking about going to the junk yard and getting some parts to do a Y8 intake Mani swap. I have read that this makes the most difference out of pretty much all of the mini me swap, and is dirt cheap. I am more doing this for fun, I just have a few questions....

Parts needed?

Rough amount of time to install for a novice?

Any tips? My buddy can weld good and we know to weld those four litlle holes on the mani shut, but anything else?

I have some time on my hands but it is my daily driver so I'd hope it wouldn't take much longer than 3 hours. I can get a couple educated friends to help, too. I did a search and couldn't come up with the answers I wanted.

If worse comes to worse, can I use most of the Y7 parts, such as throttle cable or throttle body? Also, is the Y8 throttle body any better than the Y7? I know we used the origional throttle body and cables on a friends Ford Tempo when he put on a new Intake Mani from a higher end tempo(lol I know, but his origional had a crack)
