Hey bro , yah you can put the Y8 parts on the Y7 ... , i believe there's not too much of size difference if there is any between the Y7 and Y8 throttle body wise , but don't quote me on that ...

Yeah you definately can do that. I did it about a month ago on my y7. It's pretty pointless to use the y8 throttle body because then you'll have to do some wiring work to be able to use the y8 manual iacv instead of the one already on the y7 throttle body.
And remember, when using hybrid parts like that, get the right gaskets for the right parts, IE y8 IM = y8 IM gasket, y7 TB = y7 TB gasket, don't mix up the gaskets cuz they wont work if its the wrong one.
