I know this is a long shot, but....anyone know the part number for the folding mirror relay off an EG6 or 9? Better yet, anyone know who has these? Every "JDM" shop I have contacted has told me to try elsewhere. I contacted a guy in Australia that I have worked with before, but I have not heard back from him yet. I want to try contacting him and others off-shore with a more specific part number.

When you buy stuff like that you have to make sure everything is included.

Looks like you will be having to make your own relay box, it isn't very hard at all.

BTW, I have never heard of shop selling those individually. They only include them when the entire folding mirror package is purchaed, unless they suck.

Yeah, I actually have that done already. But the mirrors don't fold in when I turn the car off, like they should. Maybe I just didn't correctly wire something. Not really a big deal for me, but I have two other sets of folding mirrors (long story on how I obtained them) and I would like to sell them as a complete set. Plus it would be nice to have a factory relay for myself.

Then you did it right, the OEM relay will not make them retract/open when car is turned on and off. I have folding mirrors as well and used the OEM relay. To make them fold when you start or turn off your car I believe the power source must be wired into your ignition. Besides, I just got them for the bling factor. I think your car would be in much greater danger of being stolen/broken into if everywhere you parked you had folded mirrors. I would park with them out and only fold and stuff to bs your friends and show them off. Just my $0.02.

But, I would still like to find some OEM relays for these other two sets that I have. It would be nice to include those. Do you know or can you see the part number off your relay? If not, it's not a big deal...I'm just being a pain in the ***.

No biggy, I don't think there is a part number on it, just a plaint black box. Not sure though. I can check for you prolly tomorrow or Thurs. Just sell them without it. Or make 2 of them from the site and sell them like that. You could try e-mailing jd177spec@aol.com and see if he is willing to sell them seperately. He is a good guy.
