Icon2 parking brake replacement

Hey I have a 94 del slo vtec - and my parking brake sucks *****. The right rear tire will almost lock up, and the left rear tire won't even grip at all w/the parking brake on all the way.

The handle comes pretty far up (I've already tightened the cable as much as possible) so I think the cable is either really stretched and old, or broken (on the left cable) or both. Time for a parking brake replacement...

Majestic wants 100usd for new cables, but I want to know how hard it is to install...

Anyone have experience replacing parking brake cables? Just wondering (realistically) how many hours it would take me to replace both... thanks

Do you have rear drum brakes? If so, I think you could probably fix the problem by cleaning the rear brake self-adjusting clevis A/B mechanism that tends to lock up with brake dust and by adjusting the cable near the hand brake lever.
