P28 ecu auto-manual conversion?

Default P28 ecu auto-manual conversion?
i have a 97 del sol si. swapped it from auto-manual but still have the auto ecu. just wondering if i can convert this to manual? ecu is a P28 OBD II (not OBD I).

found this thread but idk if its the same procedure for this ecu:

There was a OBD2 P28 but it wouldn't be worth it converting it, might as well get a OBD1 P28, you can chip it. Unlike the OBD2. As for converting it, look around, I'm not really in Del sols.
