Default Is there such thing of a OBD2 P28?

Welp, my quest for a clean P28 has finally ended to day. OR has it? When I got the ECU in the mail (Got it off Ebay) today I opened it up and I tried to plug in my
OBD1-->OBD0 harness but it wouldnt fit (Plugs were totally different)! So, I checked the ECU and the P28 I got looked as if it was OBD2. The dude told me it came from a 97 Del Sol and said it was a P28. He did tell the truth about it being a P28 (The label says so on the side of the ECU) but I thought ALL P28's were OBD1 and the SOHC VTEC Motors used a P2P ECU after '96. Can you guys help me determine if this dude just swapped ECU labels on me or is there really a OBD2 P28 ECU found in 97 Del Sols. Thanks guys.

Anything '96 and newer is OBD-II. No exceptions. So why whould a '97 Sol run an OBD-I ECU?

Sorry dude

Sall good guys...i got the thing fer 90 shipped...not too bad from all the prices i see on ebay. Welp, looks like imma hve to resell the thing....I believe the OBD1 ECU is P28-A04....the OBD2 P28 i have is something like P28-348...like it has only numbers after the dash rather than some letter.
