P0505 Problem, after engine replacement
Replaced an engine out of a 2000 civic. The motor that was in the car was a D16Y8.
The new motor we put in the car was out of a 97 or 98 civic. It is a D16Y8 motor, and it fires up just fine.
The only diference between the motors was that the intake from the 2000 civic was water cooled, yet the one from the 97 or 98 motor was not. So we had to swap throttle bodies from the newer motor to the old motor intake.
So now when we fire up the car, it runs find as its warming up, yet when it does reach operating temperatire it fluctuates....(high idle, low idle, high idle, low idle at a fast rate.)
Any suggestions on what we can do to fix this?
