Overheating (Radiator cap question)
whats up guys, i've been having a stupid problem lingering with me for a while. I have one of them ebay aluminum radiators and the original cap is gone, so i've gone through a couple STANT caps the local advance auto part carry. I really wasn't too sure of any of the sizes so I grabbed a couple different ones.
The last one I had one kinda sealed, but fluid seemed to boil past the seal, and wouldn't flow into the overflow tank. it just steams.
anyone know a cap that'll fit this piece of ****?
so i find theres two kinds of caps, this one looks nice, which one is the right fit?
btw, right now i have the type A cap. the plunger type. is that wrong?

Re: Overheating (Radiator cap question)
damn, so what'd you do, toss it out. i'm wondering if this flange on the radiator neck is some length that doesn't really work, like a bad cast. i just know it needs to be a two way cap. but i haven't really found an answer when it comes to ebay radiators.

goto JHPUSA or PWDJDM and get one for 25 bucks..
the A type is correct..

If it doesnt fit, i would look into a rad NOT from ebay
