overheating problem. "please help"
i have a 96 EK civic with a Mini me swap y7 block, with y8 head im currently running a PR4 since i havent found a P28 just yet, i do not have any trouble codes as i start the car but as the eninge runs for maybe 15 or so minutes it starts to heat up but never to the red or any thing but the needle goes up and down steadly, i stop and check if it has water and it does but missing maybe 5 ounces, not that much.
what can this be?? is it because im running a Pr4?? i also changed the thermostat. i know is not the headgasket bc it doesnt really overheat to the red.

To bleed/burp the system
1. Make sure your car is cool/cold
2. Pop your hood and take your rad cap off
3. Start up your car
4. Let it run for about 10-15 minutes with the cap off
Pretty basic. I usually let it idle until the fan turns on twice, but in your case it is wired to stay on constantly so just wait 10-15.
Some other things to do if you have the tools/access
Pressure test the rad cap
Compression test

NP, keep us updated. Check your resevoir if you can as well for any sort of black "film". And as always check for any leaks on your hoses
