Overheating at idle
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have an overheat problem with my B16(w or w/o ac/lights/radio). Temp rises to 3/4 when the normal temp is usually at 1/2. There are no leaks, gauge is accurate and the fan is working properly. For some wierd reason, once the motor is revved(moving or stationary) the temp goes back to the ideal level.
The things i have already checked and replaced(bnew):
-Thermostat
-Thermo sensor(fan & gauge)
-Radiator
-Radiator fan
-Radiator cap
-Relay
-Fuse
-Grounds
-Water pump
-Timing belt
-Tensioner bearing
The only thing i havent checked now is the head and the gasket. But the signs of a damaged head or gasket are not present. The head gasket is only a year old and the head was in good condition(last time i checked).
Again, I just want to point out that when the car overheats and the motor is revved, the temp goes down to its ideal level. Temp rises again when idle.
ex: Coming from my house to the first stoplight(2miles away), when i catch a red light, temp rises. When i start to move, temp settles. Then when i park, car overheats again. But even if im parked and i rev the motor, the temp normals.
Help.
