Default Is it ok to take off ABS and if so how do you do it?

Like the title says, I would like to remove the abs on my 94 EX. I dont know if that is safe or if you can even do it. Any help would be great. Thanks

Its doable, but doing it properly isn't easy, involves replacing brake lines, master cylinder, proportiong valve. Any particular reason you want to attempt this?

you gotta see if its a integral or non integral system to know if you gotta change the brake lines or what ...

if it is, then yeah you gotta do everything the other guy said.

My guess is because ABS is gay...

Find a non ABS Civc from a junkyard and get the hubs, brake lines and master cylinder from it. You'll be good.

You don't need the hubs, you do however need the proporting valve and the brake booster, abs and non abs MCs have the mounting flange 180 degrees off.
