probably one of the easiest and cheapest ways to fix or check. just remove your valve cover and make sure the rubber gaskets around the spark plug holes are in good shape. if they are hard and brittle, then they could be allowing oil to pass by and get into the spark plug hole. so when you remove the spark plug, it looks as if the motor is fouling, when all reality, the oil covered the spark plug on its way out.
good luck.

i doubt it but your rings could let blow by happen and you could let oil on top of the pisons. its just a thought how many miles do you have on the motor

well that would make sense, if it's bent (ticking noise) then oil is getting in there and causing the plug to roast :-\, I hate when valves go wrong, usually messed the head up good
Anyways, hope u get it fixed...
