Default oil and pan and inclines/declines question

I bought my car...no oil leaks.

took it to the honda dealership to get oil and filter change, they tell me I have an oil leak that they "cannot duplicate" and it may be the oil pan or the rear main seal.

come home not thinking anything about it since I didn't notice any oil on the driveway before the oil and filter change...

drive the car and notice a big slick down the driveway. also burns oil on startup for about 5 seconds or maybe more.

my driveway is an incline.

changed the parking and instead of having the front of the car go uphill, I backed the car into the driveway and the leak is only a little bit now and it doesn't seem to smoke or burn oil on startup at all.

so, of course I'm going to be backing my civic into the driveway from now on (til I sell my celica and then park the civic in the garage on the level)

but are there any suggestions as to a common issues with the b18c1 and oil leaks?

how easy is it to pull the pan and put some FIPG to fix the leak? (I haven't stuck my head way under the car yet)

I'm concerned about the burnoff when starting up. Any advice or things I should check on with this situation? (besides keeping an eye on the oil level)
