Default Oil flow problem.. Studs to blame?

I recently switched from bolts to ARP studs in my y7/z6 mini-me motor.. Right away the cam seized up in the head and bent the exhaust valves. After taking everything apart and finding no problems I thought it was just a fluke as the head had some damage to the journals when I bought it (ebay special). I then bought a second head.. all done up.. ported.. hardend valves bla bla.. Installed that.. and 3 miles later.. BOOM same thing. When I removed the valve cover I found that the head was almost bone dry. I figured the oil pump had gone.. I removed the rear center head stud and cranked the engine over and lots of oil flowed. I then removed the rocker arm assembly and again cranked the motor over.. lots of oil to the jet in the front of the center cam journal. I am now at a major loss as to what the problem may be.. not to mention the loss of 2 heads!! The problem ALL started after going to studs. Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas? The studs are about 1mm bigger in diameter then the OEM bolts but still 'shouldnt' be enough to block the oil passage to the head.
