Default OBD2A/OBD2B confusion

I currently have a 98 ek hatch with the stock y7 in it. I picked up a 99 Si b16a2, ecu and wire harness. What all should be done to make this swap work in my car. I thought i would be able to just run the new engine harness into my car and run the b16ecu. But now am thinking it might be more involved then that. Thanks for the help

do NOT use that em1 wiring harness...it will give you nothing but trouble in your obd2A vehicle

You need to use your stock civic harness and ADD the wires that it doesnt have, directly from the sensors on the engine to the ecu itself.
Meaning, you also need an obd2A -> obd2B jumper harness
