I have done numerous searches and have come up with nothing. Here is my situation, I have a 1997 Honda Civic obd2a of course. I purchased the car as a shell and it did not come with a harness. I bought a complete engine from a 1999 Civic Sedan obd2b.

The harness I used has 2 clips for the ecu and the green one for the dash. Now I have the pigtail from the third clip for the ecu that i grabbed from the 1999 sedan but i dont know if i can wire it in?

The car runs but speedo, tach, rad fan are not working as well as the engine light is on.

Is there A way I can make this work without having to change the engine harness? I checked out the jumper harness's but they dont look like they are going to help me in this situation...

No. They have to match, there's no way around it.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-O...mZ190492823523 just use a obd2a ecu. make sure u plug the air injection holes as 99-00 civic's had air injection.check out this link. you can take the intake manifold off and plug the small holes with rivets and plug the big nipple off with a cap or cut it off and plug it with jb weld or plug it off like this guy did in this write up http://www.d-series.org/forums/diy-f...manifolds.html

just find an obd2a harness and swap that out
