Hey, one of my buddies gave me a deal on a full special edition swap (98 or 99). It is a b18b1 that i'm replacing my d16y8 with.

The b18 came as automatic with about 91k on it. I swapped on a 5spd tranny from a 95 ls. I got the obd1 harness, obd1 injectors, obd1 throttle body, obd1 p75 ecu and obd1 dizzy. I put this motor in about 2 weeks ago with some honda buddies. We had it in and tried to fire it up. Its cranks like it wants to start up. We got fuel, and spark to every plug.

I needed to get to work so we put my y8 back in. I took the motor home to swap there on my own time and decided it was the timing and pulled the valve cover to check the cam gears. I went ahead an set the #1 to tdc and set the cams to tdc, while maintaining tension on the timing belt. I put it back in and tried to fire it up, but no dice. I put this motor back in my coupe with about 3" of snow outside, w/no garage.

As far as i know, i've done everything correctly. My last guess would be the dizzy. Anybody have any ideas?? Please let me know asap.

alright, i went and compared my swap to a buddys 94 teg w/ b18b1. It turns out i have an obd2 dizzy. It was wired color for color to the obd1 harness. anybody have a wiring diagram from obd1 harness to an obd2 dizzy?? I can't seem to find one....
