OBD2 motor into OBD1 car

OBD2 motor into OBD1 car
what do i need to make this work? i have a chance to get a OBD2 GSR motor from a friend, decently priced, and was wondering if it was worth it.

well ur gonna get flamed for not searching but everyone at some point has asked this question and i have too.
Anyway you'll need an obd1 ecu and the obd2 engine harness from ur friends gsr put in the gsr and plug in the sensors then plug those big connectors at the shock towers in and your set. U dont need a conversion harness u dont need injectors u dont need a different dizzy. i dunno what car your puttin this in so u may have to wire up the vtec.

if your taking out the engine with the wiring harness on it, just bolt the engine in, plug up the wiring harness and put in your OBD1 Ecu. You don't have to change any sensors or any of that bullcrap.

I think his question is more, with the obd2 gsr motor, should he
a. use the obd2 wiring harness with a conversion harness and the obd1 ecu?
b. use his existing obd1 wiring harness with the obd1 ecu.

You don't need a conversion harness, because the car is already wired internally for the OBD1 ecu.
