OBD2 b18c1 into 94 hatch. ----code 41. ----HYBRID forum is too slow
is the primary oxygen heater wiring differnt in an OBD2 engine and an OBD1 chasis harness?
i replced the o2 sensor.. and i still get the error and i know the new one works.
i have noticed the two black wires..... on the engine side it looks like one of them has a white line on it. could it be wired differently?
i'm running an obd1 p72 and evap/iab/vtec/knock are all wired correctly and functioning.
yes i searched.. from searching i found out that the heater is just to heat the sensor up so it functions ebfore really warming up... so shouldnt the stupid code just go away. grr.
thanks

It's possible that a wire is frayed or loose in the chassis harness. Time to whip out the multimeter and do so probing. If all else fails, you can have the ECU chipped to disable the O2 heater code.
