obd2 = car ... ecu = obd1 .... emission?

obd2 = car ... ecu = obd1 .... emission?
I did a search and had no luck on both recent and archive.
Just one question if i have a obd 2 car and planning on running a OBD 1 stock ecu planning on running a p72 gsr will this affect the emission test since they plug it into the connector on obd2 cars.
I have 96 civic with a 00 integra gsr motor b18c1 running a 96 EX harness
want to run a 94-95 gsr obd1 ecu
will this affect emission?
