Yeah its a pretty stupid question, and I don't feel like being an ******* today so i'll say yes. It bolts in the same as any other B16, B18 motor. People who want a swap and can afford the 4000 price as opposed to the 2000 price of the B16 get the ITR swap.

Yeah the Type R just costs more.

Don't forget that it also lays down about 25 more whp than an average GS-R swap and about 30 more whp and 20 more ft-lbs. of torque than the average B16A.

Oh yeah - this has been covered a million times already.

Try searching for topics created by me (B18C5-EH2) and you'll find everything you need to know about Type R swaps:

AEM CAI for 99-00 Civic Si
DC JDM 4-1 Header (2.5'' collector)

Tanabe Super Medallion Racing Spec exhaust for 1992-1995 Civic hatch
Skunk 2 cam gears
B&M FPR
Kenji-Spec P28
Freshly Installed V-AFC
Fresh Oil Change - Mobil 1 5W30 Synthetic

I've done enough and I own one. IM me if you have any specific questions.
