o2 problem. Help b16a
Quick question, I got a cel for primary o2 and I dont have a bung for one, so iam getting a chip to eliminate the code which should resolve my bad gas mileage problem right?....any imput?

Your engine uses the 02 sensors to help determine if youre running rich or lean.
You can just get a bung welded in for about $50 at an exhaust shop, then your code will be gone and you wont run rich/lean.

running open loop (no primary O2) without heavily tuning the car is begging to have it blow up.
keep in mind tuning is something that requires a wideband O2 and a few hours in the car.
not the person you got the chip from saying it's a "tuned" map...

this is one of those times where trying to save a few bucks here will cost you hundreds down the road. but hey if you want go for it its your car, but dont come back to H-T a few months from now asking "why did my motor blow up"
