here wat happend, THe car always had ran fine for me the past 2 years, But latly ive been caught up wtih lots of stuff, but i keep forgetting my car eats oil alot.. Well yesterday morning...

I left home 7 am.. across town w/vtec..back and then back to school...i noticed my **** drove funny...i checked oil...It was THIRSTY like a RaceHORSE....omfg...i put in 2 1/2 quarts of oil mobile1syn...well it rides fine in the lower rpms..but when i push it where vtec cross over 7krpm...it wouldnt go...then it drive like ****...so ive been careful...

any idea... i wont have the chance to go to a tuner shop till next week.. and this is my daily..i shift at 4-5krpm. just being safe...It drives normally but sometimes its idling funny

Never had this happend.. The swap i had was done professionally well..wires and everyhings are good...


My car is a Ek hatch 97 with 99 R motor...50k miles...obd2a gsr ecu...I would figure it maybe the ecu...but same thing...how do you reset ecu? i have a voltage meter i check the vtec soliniod its fine..but the other plug that connects to vtec solinoid im not getting any voltage?

I also have other pos to wory about...the two side mounts bushing on the bottom/underneath are worned too it looks like its connected to the engine on driver and tranny on the other..while i was checking for leaks and what not...no leaks...i pray i didnt do any damage in the motor?...

But wat could possibly might happend...if there is...valves? .....pistons?....if so how is this fixed any clue..

darn...sorry ya...i dont mean to bug yall with this...i will get this figure out, all my gear head buddies are too daym busy these days.....just wanna see what yall kno... Before i head to the shop...
