No start condition on 95 civic ex
I have a no start condition on a 1995 civic ex. The timing is good. The car has spark and the distributor cap, rotor, and ign wires and plugs have been recently replaced. The ignition coil tested okay. The motor has good compression. I can hear the fuel pump run when the key is turned to on position and fuel shoots out if i pull the fuel return line and run the pump. I replaced the fuel pressure regulator with no success and can hear the injectors click if I hold a screwdriver to them while cranking. Also, I had an old ECU lying around, and swapping it in did not help. The car doesn't even sputter or almost start. It just cranks all day long. If you have any ideas. It would be greatly appreciated as I am stumped.

Have you pulled off the valve cover and upper timing belt cover to verify that the cam (gear arrow UP) and crank (pointer aligned with white mark on pulley) are still synchronized at TDC1 (=mechanical timing)?
Is the spark at the plugs bright white/bluish or weak orange?

check all of your grounds. check the plug wire order on the dist. cap. since they were just replaced, that's a good place to start. 1-3-4-2, 1 should be on the back towards the firewall.
how did you confirm the timing is correct?
