Default No one can give me an answer

My 95 Civic will start eventually after repeated tries, the starter clicks, I try again two or three more times and it will start no problem. Then when driving the battery light will turn on then go out. When I rev the engine the headlights get brighter and none of the accessories seem affected at all, so I think the alternator is okay, but I am not sure, and the battery is a year old. What could it be?

probably your battery or your alternator is not working properly

take it to a pepboys, autozone or other car parts chain and they can do a free battery system test.

Your battery man. Have it charged, or even replaced.

are the terminals loose? when the starter clicks, it obviously isn't pulling enough current to crank the motor, and if the battery light comes on and goes back off, that kind of rules out the ignition switch. If the car sits for a few days, does it start okay still? have you ever had to charge the battery? what kind of battery is it? is it a cheap *** one, or whatever? my ultimate guess here would be the alternator, but i'm not sure. some grounds/terminals could be loose. is it the original starter?

sounds more like a starter selonoid to me... also check the battary... you could have a slow drain on it leaving it a little shy of voltage to start the car...

Also check the grounds like stated... that can be it a LOT of the time.
