Default NGK Iridium Plugs. No Gap=Ok?

so, youre not supposed to gap ngk's iridium plugs due to the extremely fine centre electrode.

im running a gsr with itr pistons and itr camshafts so im running around a 11:3 compression ratio.

would it be better just to go with ngk's platinum plug so i can gap them correctly, or should it not make a big enough difference?

I would just get NGK V-Power. They are great plugs, and very cheap.

BTW platinum sucks IMO.

it doesn't conduct as well as copper OR iridium, it just lasts longer.

I always was going NGK. I am just debating whether or not to go with the iridiums or not, since you cant gap them.

as said above, the Iridium/Platinums only offer a longevity advantage, not any performance advantage.
you could buy several sets of the standard plugs for the price of one set of them,so money wise there's really not much difference.
i'd go with the standards since it will allow you to play with the gap.

BKR7E-11s... stock gap/plug for ITR. I run them ungapped on 11:1 motor with 0 issues. And they are more than cheap enough to replace yearly... platinum is for the people that just like spending more money than they need to. The cost vs efficiency ratio is better on coppers.
