newly rebuilt gsr motor smokes WTF!
Even compression, 1k miles on motor smokes (blue) not at idle but in lower rpms after you get on it. No smoke in higher RPM's, does not happen all the time. Oil has been changed 3 times since rebuild.

sounds like bad rings, but if you have even compression, i can't understand why it would be blue smoke. try some sea-foam or some kind of additive.

ayone else got any ideas?? I really hope its not the rings, unless they didnt seat right for whatever reason i dont see how it could be?

They're a pretty reputable shop so I'd assume they'd warranty their work. Would you think that'd be taken care of? The only thing I can come up with is that they did a shitty job honing and the rings didnt seat right?
