it has to do with your oil...definately check your oil/ oil level, if you have bluish gray smoke that means oil is leaking through somewhere into you combustion chamber, you should get a compression test and a leak down test.

i agree. blue smoke means burnt oil. my buddy had a 95 gsr with like 130k miles and every time he floored it he blew blue smoke. he lost something like a quart of oil every week to two weeks.

You can do the compression test yourself for cheap, go to www.c-speedracing.com for instructions. Not sure on the leakdown though.

I've got the same problem with my high mileage GSR. It's most likely your piston rings if the smoking occurs at high rpm's... smoke upon start up or between shifts is usually because of leaky valve seals. It's not a huge deal that you are burning oil... just keep your eye on the oil level and don't let it run down. Just save your money for a rebuild and keep a case or two of oil around.

My gsr does the same thing, GSR's seem to have that problem its most likely rings. Just dotn kill it as much and MAKE SURE U KEEP OIL IN IT. For now sae up for a rebuild.

I just wanted to add that just b/c you do a compression test and it comes out okay that the rings are fine. Only a leak down test can determine the condition of your oil control rings. Good luck

2 things

is that actually your car? why would someone spend $9k to convert a integra lol but it does look really cool

does the smoke happen at start up or while driving? If its only at startup then its probably your valve seals

A convetible teg would ride like chit. You would have to put a whole lot of reinforcements that would just way the car down. Plus, you probably have to rebuild the car from the ground up. Honda wasn't able to do a good job themselves with the topless delsol.

most convertibles ride like **** even from the factory, other than a Miata or an MR2 Spyder being the only reasonably priced convts that can still handle

could be valve spring seals are leaking, try adding some oil additive to it.

if you getting blue smoke, it means your car is running rich. try valve adjustment to c if that'll solve a problem. if not you might have problem with valve releasing too much fuel into the engine.
