Re: new radiator problem
Why did you swap the previous radiator - Did you believe it was leaking due to fluid loss, or was it noticeably damaged? (Or just an upgrade.)
Bubbling coolant reservoir typically indicates a head gasket issue is why I ask, which you're probably already aware of.

Re: new radiator problem
upgrade, had it sitting around and buddy needed a radiator so just swapped it.
how do you bleed it? open the nozzle on the thermostat housing and wait till anti-freeze to come out? Or starting the car with the cap off and wait till it bubbles down and keep filling it.
also the lower radiator hose feels like it's empty. I replaced the thermostat with a napa one awhile ago. Is it alright to run without one?
Also swapped the cap with a new one already

Re: new radiator problem
to properly bleed it start the car with the radiator cap off, let it run till the fan kicks on and u should b good. Thats the way ive always done it and ive never had a issue. There is also the bleeder valve on the thermostat housing but ive never bleed it that way personally

Re: new radiator problem
couldn't pop vtec without it so i bought a OEM thermostat and replaced it. same thing, flushed that sucker, refilled it, and then left the cap open so it can air out.
same outcome, the reservoir overflowed again
could it be a bad rad?
the hose that connect to the rad cap area blows out steam too
