Trouble with radiator!
I'm really new to all this so please bare with me. Ok well I have a new radiator in my 95 civic. I put it in around july because my old one was busted. Well It seems to be doing fine except about every 2 month I start to over heat. I think it is because it looses antifreeze. Every time i put more in, it takes alot, so im assuming it is losing alot. Every oncee in a while there will be anti freeze under my car, but not under the radiator, it is under the thing to the right of the radiator that looks like a smaller version of a radiator(sorry i dont know what it is)Well....any suggestions. The radiator is nearly new so i dont think its brtoken or anything. also the plastic tank right of it goes empty after about a week. Could it be the cap hose what?? thanks

Re: Trouble with radiator! (kingpen)
its leaking at the resevoir? when ur leaking in there...and the fluid comes out of it...that means u dont have enough in ur radiator. wait till ur radiator is cool. then fill up the radiator itself. maybe when u installed ur radiator...u just filled the resevoir and didn't fill the radiator. thats the picture i'm getting in my head from reading all of this. if that isn't the problem..and ur radiator is in fact full, then change or thermostat. but this is what im' imagining from how ur explaining it.

To your right is the a/c. Check all your hoses and inspect them for cracks or small holes. Also make sure that they are clamped nice and tight. Start with the little things and hope for nothing major.
