Default new head

i have a d15 non vtec and im looking into switching heads and running vtec and i was wondering what would be a good head and around how much would it cost me. i was thinking out a d16y8 head.

do u really want to buy a NEW head? i wouldnt its too pricy....

get a used one in good condition.

i would think less than 200 for a decent one, depends what kind of deal you can find

You could put a D16Z6 head on it. I got 2 one could be for sale if your intrested . And you would need a p28 obd1 to run it. But it has y7 valves in one of the chambers so it ticks when running but still hold compression. i have the other z6 valves to put in it.
