I hope I'm posting in the right forum.. *new to civic forum*
I'm extremely new to the civic forum. A friend at work has a '97 EX 2 Dr Coupe for $3500. It's black and has very little body damage. It has 140k miles and the interior looks flawless and it's been owned by 3 previous owner. It has tein shocks (I don't know the specific model #). It has RS limited wheels that are gunmetal 17s. The ride is great and it shifts fine. Does $3500 sound like a good deal? Also, does this car have a cabin air filter? Thanks guys!

Sounds good enough to me, check http://www.kbb.com 's private party value to double check. And i'm pretty sure it doesn't have a cabin air filter, but the 01+ civics do.

Not without changing most of the front end (hood, headlights, fenders...)

sounds like an okay deal, i'd do 3k and call it a day, you'd need to convert to the 99-00 front to do any types of things you want to do
So you should find a 99-00 civic in the other words if you don't want to go through all that trouble.
