NEW CLUTCH FOR A 92-95 Civic 1.5
Im new to the forum, and I joined because i have some questions that can only be anwsered by other tuners. so-
1. I have the stock d15b7 motor in it,(1994 dx), and Im in need of a clutch. I was wondeing if anyone could tell me a halfway decent brand, ive done some reasearch and exedy sounds decent.
2. I was wondering if its worth even putting a aftermarket clutch on my car, its got 160,000 mi, aem cold air w/ K&N filter, DC headers, magnaflow catback(nocat) and basicaly thats all. Is it even going to make a diffirence in my shifts if i get a stage 1,2,or 3 since i dont have much power at all?
Thanks for you time.

you arent really pushing much more power than stock so I dont see any advantage of getting a stage 1, 2, or 3 etc. I would think a stock replacment would be fine. The brand you mentioned Excedy makes stock replacement clutches that I have been looking at.
Check here: http://www.clutchcityonline.com/honda_civic.htm
These are much cheeper from what I have seen than the Excedy Organic (which I think is basically their Stage 1 even though its not called that).
Other brands are ACT and Clutchmasters.
Someone correct me if I have said anything wrong as I am not 100% sure on the quality of some of these products.
