Need some help is it worth it?
Alright I'm buying a 92 Honda Civic Si it's turbo'd tommorrow and I need to know if it's worth $4,000.
Motor work:
--------------
B18C1 block
B16 port and polished head
Aftermarket Cams (I'm guessing GSR cams)
J.E Low compression Piston's (9.1)
Eagle rods
2 step launch control ( Set at 6,000 RPM's)
Garrett t3/t4 60 trim turbo
Greddy Type S BOV
Boost Controller (18psi dd, 23 psi track)
Walbro 255 High flow fuel pump
RC 750cc injectors
Stage 3 clutch
Tuned on EC (430 whp on 93 octane)
Over heat protection on boost and everything
The Bads:
----------------
Cracked front windshield
Front bumper needs some fabbing to fit the intercooler(so no front bumper)
Rust on both rear quater panel's
Bald tires
Driver side door won't lock
The hood is ghetto rigged to open with a zip tie
Small oil drop leaking from the oil pan gasket
Driver Side mirror cracked
Interior is dirty
Missing Glove box
Other than that it run's fine no problems, is it worth $4,000? And estimated repair cost to get the exterior looking all nice and stock, JDM stuff can come after I get the stock stuff nice.

Uploading pictures now(taking forever to load) on the original post thanks for the idea forgot about the pic's and it is quick. Just wondering if it's worth $4,000 in the condition it's in.

Re: Need some help is it worth it?
do a compression and leakdown and if it checks out i'd say buy it. the swap and all the work has gotta be well worth it. i'd get it pull the motor out and put it in a cleaner body. kinda too good to be true!

The work was done by the ladies husband, this isnt his first car he's built many turbo car's so I trust everything is fine. Pictures will be up soon, so you guy's can give me a better estimate. Please help though im buying the car Friday June 18th, my dad doesnt think it's worth it, but is it worth it to you guy's?

Re: Need some help is it worth it?
do a compression test at the least if the numbers look good i would get it
but i would not buy a built boosted engine without a compression test because it was built to be beat on
